Why Edge Computing for Tunnel Monitoring?
Edge computing enables data processing at or near the source—in this case, within the tunnel itself. By deploying rugged industrial edge gateways, like our ARMxy series, directly in the tunnel environment, data from sensors can be collected, processed, and acted upon in real time without relying on cloud or remote servers.
This architecture supports:
